Giuseppe Scarlato

Ph.D. student in numerical analysis at Università degli Studi dell'Insubria

Research

My main research area is regularization methods for solving ill-posed inverse problems. In particular, I use those methods for image reconstruction (such as image deblurring). I also work with signal processing and neural networks.

Code

I write code mainly in Python. I also like C++, but I do not use it as often. I use Git for version control. I love open-source projects.

Interests

I have a wide range of personal interests. All of them are related to building things. A short list includes 3D printing, computer graphics, game development, electronics, microcontrollers, hi-fi audio, woodworking.
